Interpol has been asked by Lebanese authorities to issue an international red notice to search for the captain and owner of the ship that was loaded with chemicals and ended up causing a huge explosion in the port of Beirut, which killed 200 people, reports Reuters.

The country's leaders had allegedly been warned on several occasions about the danger of having high explosive materials stored for so many years and at such a central location in the city.
