J. Lauritzen hit by new losses - lowers expectations for 2013

Lauritzen Bulkers has sold a newbuilding planned to be delivered in the third quarter 2013, and the company lowers its expectations for 2013 as a whole.

Lauritzen Bulkers has sold off a newbuilding planned to be delivered in the third quarter 2013, which the shipping company will then take on through a long-term charter contract. J. Lauritzen also informs on Thursday that the company's net result for the year is expected to be a USD 85-110 million deficit, compared to a deficit of USD 75-100 million before.
