Norden continues ambitious investment programme

Norden made an operational profit of USD four million in the second quarter 2013, more or less in line with expectations, says the company, which continues its ambitious investment programme.

In the second quarter, Norden made an operational profit of USD four million before impairments and sales commissions. The result falls in line with expectations and puts the operational result for the first six months at USD 13 million, says the shipping company in its financial report for the second quarter 2013.

"The market remains challenging, not least within dry cargo, but there are some signs of improvement i.a. in the form of an improved spot market," says the carrier in the financial report.
