
403 ships have been taken apart under criticized conditions at scrapping facilities in southern Pakistan during the last four years, all of them located on the coastal stretch by the city of Gadani.
And Greek shipowners are by far the most well-represented on the country's shoreline, according to a new report by NGO Shipbreaking Platform, which is fighting for improved conditions on the scrapping facilities in Southeast Asia.
