EU Commissioner supports Trident Alliance

EU Commissioner for Climate Action Connie Hedegaard lends her full support to the shipping industry's own initiative to secure increased control against environmental violators: The Trident Alliance. The first meeting is scheduled for tomorrow in Copenhagen.

Even before the carriers behind the new Trident Alliance meet for the first time tomorrow in Copenhagen, the initiative has received a remarkable amount of support from leading politicians.
