Norwegian-born John Fredriksen's fortune has exceeded USD 16 billion, according to magazine Kapital's annual ranking of the richest people in Norway.

The Norwegian-born shipowner and major investor in oil and fish farms, John Fredriksen, has amassed a fortune that now exceeds USD 16 billion (NOK 100 billion), according to the magazine Kapital's annual ranking of Norway's 400 richest people, reports newspaper Dagens Næringsliv.
