One-off item pulls Nordic Shipholding in black

Nordic Shipholding made USD 2.3 million in 2014, mainly due to the reversal of a previous impairment, says the carrier, pointing to a smaller profit in 2015.

Nordic Shipholding achieved a profit after taxes of USD 2.3 million, a significant setback from the carrier's 2013 result of USD 21.5 million, according to the annual report. The result is attributed to improved earnings and a USD 5.2 million one-off income from a partial reversal of a previous impairment on vessel Nordic Anne, says the company:

"Excluding this gain, the Group incurred a net loss of USD 2.8 million for 2014," says Nordic Shipholding.
