Clipper's Danish business now profitable again

With a result of USD six million in 2014, Clipper Group A/S has finally managed to turn several years of deficits into a positive result. The carrier expects to do even better in 2015.

After several years of suffering negative bottom line results, Clipper's Danish business - Clipper Group A/S - managed to deliver a USD six million profit in 2014, according to the company's annual report.

Clipper Group A/S, which consists of ferry operator Danske Færger, RoRo activities on the Irish Sea (Seatruck Ferries), commercial and technical management through Clipper Fleet Management, as well as owning and operating tanker vessels, benefited in particular from improved results in Danske Færger, the RoRo activities and currency transactions.
