Polish state-owned ferry operator Polferries is no longer up for sale, and the country's Ministry of Finance has withdrawn from negotiations, reports one of the interested parties, Finnlines, in a statement.

Back in the fall last year, the Polish state announced that Polferries would be privatized, and since then both Finnlines and DFDS have entered the field as potential buyers of the RoRo and passenger carrier, which operates in the Baltic Sea.
