Equity funds acquire Esvagt for hundreds of millions

Equity funds 3i and AMP Capital have acquired carrier Esvagt from the Maersk Group. The transaction is expected completed by late September.

The much-awaited sale of the Maersk Group's offshore carrier has now been realized, informs private equity fund 3i in a statement Tuesday morning CET.
