Bourbon Offshore hit by huge, new loss

Offshore carrier Bourbon has taken several hits during the crisis, and the carrier's operating loss grew in the first half of 2017 to a deficit of EUR 90.8 million against EUR 28.3 million in the same period last year, shows the report published Thursday.
Net earnings were under pressure with a EUR 170.4 million deficit compared with EUR 87.3 million in the first half of 2016. A EUR 50 million currency loss over the period was a key factor, writes the carrier.
