DP World saw "softened" volume growth in Q1

Container volumes went up for DP World in Q1, but growth was ”softened” compared to last year. Geopolitical environment prompt mixed short-term outlook, states CEO.

Major terminal company DP World reports increasing container volumes from the beginning of 2022, however, growth was lower than in Q1 2021.

In the first quarter, DP World’s gross volumes came to 19.3 million twenty-foot containers (teu) across the company’s port terminals. In last year's first quarter, DP World’s gross volumes totaled 18.9 million teu, according to the firm.
