Maersk company has violated merger rules and faces fine

Last year, a subsidiary of Maersk acquired an US company in a merger that was approved in the US but not reported to the Danish competition authority. Maersk calls it a ”regrettable mistake”.

Maersk-owned logistics company Damco USA Inc. and its parent company may end up being fined for lack of merger control.
