A new report by DNB and asset manager KLP points to ammonia as the best fuel solution for shipping as far as meeting the global climate targets, writes Norwegian media E24.

Norwegian bank DNB and asset manager KLP both point to ammonia as the best choice of alternative fuel for shipping going forward.

In a new report, the two financial institutions consider the alternative fuel an investment that makes sense even now, especially viewed in terms of how the environmental requirements in the shipping industry are due to become stricter in the years ahead.
