MAN demands more regulation of shipping to reach Paris Agreement targets

MAN Energy Solutions strongly calls for more ambitious regulation of the shipping industry. Otherwise, CO₂ emissions from a doubled fleet ahead of 2050 will undermine the attainment of the Paris Agreement goals.

The management of MAN Energy Solutions urges politicians to tighten climate regulations. If not, shipping’s carbon emissions will conflict with meeting the targets of the Paris Agreement, states MAN Energy Solutions Chief Sales Officer Wayne Jones in an announcement.
