Foreign minister eyes more Russia sanctions ahead: "Highly likely"

A few weeks after the EU launched its latest sanctions package targeting the shipping sector and others, Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeppe Kofod is already seeing additional possible measures against Russia. ”We’re prepared to go further,” the minister says.

LUXEMBOURG - Oil, components, classification firms and several of the key parts of Russia’s banking sector have already been targets of repeated and persistent sanctions from the European Union in response to the invasion of Ukraine.
