Carrier with close ties to Russia could escape new EU sanctions
Officials confirm to ShippingWatch that a shipping company closely affiliated with major Russian carrier Sovcomflot is likely to avoid repercussions from EU’s tenth sanctions package.

BRUSSELS – The Russian shipping industry will most likely go free of further sanctions in the European Union’s tenth package, several sources confirm to ShippingWatch ahead of the EU foreign ministers’ Monday meeting in Brussels.
