
For many years, Denmark's DSV has been focused on Switzerland and its competitor Panalpina, which revealed Wednesday that DSV has made a an acquisition offer of DKK 26.5 billion for the company.
DSV has not hidden the fact that consolidation is the way forward for a fragmented industry. The acquisition offer comes just three months after the transport and logistics company had to drop an attempt to buy another Swiss player, Ceva Logistics.
