Alfa Laval takes on new ballast water test in the US

After the US Coast Guard rejected the MPN test method, Alfa Laval is now going in a different direction with another method of testing, expected to result in a new application to the coast guard in mid-2016.

After Alfa Laval received the rejection from the United States Coast Guard (USCG), of the MPN test method for ballast water treatment systems, the supplier group has now begun a new cycle of testing in order to get approval from USCG.
