Johan Sverdrup expansion announced next week

One of the biggest North Sea projects ever, the expansion of the giant Johan Sverdrup field, looks to have progressed enough for the partners, including Statoil and Maersk Oil - apparently following some disagreement - to now make further announcements about the project.

This is one of the biggest expansion projects in the North Sea offshore sector ever. And even though the partners behind the project, Lundin, Statoil, and Maersk Oil, have allegedly had difficulties agreeing on the project, the word now is that an announcement about the expansion will be made next week.
