Major bank arrests ships to reclaim OW Bunker debt

Dutch finance bank ING is still trying to recover some of the debt owed to it after the OW Bunker bankruptcy. These efforts have so far hit three ships in Singapore and India, which have received claims for several hundred thousand dollars.

Three product tankers were arrested last week by major Dutch bank ING as the banking giant has launched efforts to retrieve its owed bunker debt after the bankruptcy of OW Bunker, according to industry media Ship & Bunker.
