Evergreen sons in battle for the family business

The sons of the founder of Taiwanese Evergreen Group are in the midst of a family feud over the control of the group. One son was in place to be the sole heir to the estate of Chang Yung-fa, but three older sons from a previous marriage are not willing to let this happen.

A dispute over the control of Taiwanese Evergreen has emerged, as not all siblings and descendants of the founder and chairman, Chang Yung-Fa, who died on January 20th, agree in his final testament which favors the youngest son. The will from December 2014 states that the youngest son, Chang Kuo-Wei, is the sole descendant and heir to the estate.
