Jesper Praestensgaard leaves Hapag-Lloyd

49-year-old Jesper Praestensgaard, who has spent more than 20 years with Maersk, leaves German container carrier Hapag-Lloyd after just two and a half years. To take on new challenges, according to the official statement.

Jesper Praestensgaard leaves senior management at German Hapag-Lloyd at his own request, said the shipping company on Monday.

“Hapag-Lloyd would like to thank Jesper Praestensgaard for his dedication during this time and would like to wish him all the best for the future, both privately and professionally,” says Dr Jürgen Weber, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hapag-Lloyd, in a press release.
