Solid growth in Norwegian coating company Jotun

Both sales and profits increased in 2013 for anti-fouling and marine coating manufacturer Jotun. The growth was especially caused by market improvements in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and parts of the Middle East.

Growth in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and parts of the Middle East is the primary reason that Norwegian Jotun continued to grow in 2013.

According to a statement by the company, sales increased six percent, to more than USD 1.97 billion, while the company's operating profit came to USD 207.2 million, a 12 percent improvement compared to USD 185.8 million in 2012.l
