On Monday, employees at Norwegian Aker Solutions were once more faced with depressing news. 175 jobs will be axed due to the reduced activity level in the oil industry:

"I can confirm that there have been held informative meetings today with employees in Stavanger working in the field of maintenance, modifications and operations (MMO) in Norway. The topic was employment challenges related to the significant decrease in activity in the MMO market on the Norwegian Shelf," Bunny Nooryani, head of communcations at Aker Solutions, tells
